| We hold in high regard certain Biblical values that our vision is built upon and
built with. These values breathe life into the vision and sustain the quality of the
vision. Without these vision values, the vision would be dead letter and result in
institutionalism. Value God's Word ~ We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for all Christians. Value God's Manifest Presence ~ To enjoy God's felt-realized presence is our passion as a church. We believe there is a presence of God available to God's people as they follow the pattern of worship as seen in the Psalms [Psalm 22:3]. Value Holy Spirit Activity ~ Both in our personal and corporate life as believers, we welcome the moving of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts as recorded in the Bible are part of our basic belief system. Value Dynamic Spontaneous Praise and Worship ~ The believer's response to God's presence may be seen in the energetic worship with clapping, lifting hands and singing spontaneous unrehearsed songs unto the Lord. Value Family ~ Throughout history God has placed emphasis on family. We endeavor to build strong, healthy families within the church. Value Unity Amongst Members ~ Not conformity but unity of spirit and principle. Unity may express itself in a variety of ways but still maintain the same principles and convictions so as to flow together in accomplishing vision. Value The Holiness of God ~ Holiness is not legalism that is measured by outward look, but a true cleansing of the believer by the power of the Holy Spirit that is evidenced by Christian character and conduct. Value Fervent Prayer ~ The voice of prayer is heard as we pray out loud together in our pre-service prayer times. This principle of prayer is believed to be the motor or powerhouse to our church life. Individual fasting and prayer for the whole church is a continual emphasis. Value Excellence ~ We believe God deserves the best we have to offer; therefore we seek to maintain a high quality of excellence in everything connected to the work of the Lord. Value Relationships ~ To love one another is our goal and we endeavor to make this practical through fellowship times. Every believer is encouraged to develop deeper relationships with other believers that result in encouragement and accountability. Value Integrity ~ There is no substitute for a lack in character. We hold integrity in highest esteem and filter all other values through this one. Value Kingdom of God Influence ~ We are to be salt and light to our world. Every believer is encouraged to make a difference in the world around them. All aspects of our society, the political, the social, and the educational, need to be penetrated by God's Spirit, His Word and His people. |
